Purpose
Burnsall Engineering is committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and exploitation in all areas of our operations and supply chains. We uphold the highest ethical standards and expect the same from our partners, suppliers, and contractors.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, agency workers, suppliers, and any other parties working on behalf of Burnsall Engineering.
Our Commitment
- We will act ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings.
- We will implement measures to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains.
- We will comply with all applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Due Diligence
We will:
- Assess and monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Conduct supplier audits where appropriate.
- Require suppliers to confirm compliance with anti-slavery laws.
Training & Awareness
We will provide training to relevant staff to help them identify and report concerns related to modern slavery.
Reporting Concerns
Employees, suppliers, and stakeholders are encouraged to report any suspicion of modern slavery. Reports can be made confidentially to info@burnsallengineering.com
Breach of Policy
Any breach of this policy by employees may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal. Breaches by suppliers may result in termination of contracts.
Review
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
